Andy English is a member of the Society of Wood Engravers, the Cambridge Drawing Society and the Wood Engravers Network (USA). Based in Cambridge, UK, his woodcuts and engravings have been exhibited in Europe, North America, Australia and Africa and he is highly sought after for his personal book plates. His preferred themes embrace traditional treatments of wildlife and childhood, but his work often incorporates hidden elements and visual puns.
Chris Daunt is a member of the Society of Wood Engravers and a highly talented professional artist and teacher, specialising in wood engraving, wood and linocut. He is based at Tyne and Wear, UK, near to the eighteenth century home of Thomas Berwick. Since 2003, Chris has been the UK's only blockmaker supplying to the woodcut trade. Chris very generously donated all the lemonwood blocks which were used for this book.
Harry Brockway is an award-winning wood engraver, sculptor and stonemason and a member of the Society of Wood Engravers. Based in Glastonbury, UK, he has created illustrations for numerous highly successful books, both within the mainstream and fine printing press.
