D&AD 2010
The Oak Tree Fine Press edition of À Outrance features in the 2010 D&AD Catalogue, having been recognized by an international panel of judges as one of the creative events of the year. The D&AD awards recognize the best in global design, and inclusion in their catalogue is highly coveted. À Outrance is published in a large format and features unique individual bindings, as well as original woodcuts by well-known UK artists. The text centres on an epic duel between two bear kings, and the design combines heavy gothic elements with a lightness and clarity appropriate to a children’s book. -
